FocusLock Beta is a productivity tool that helps users stay focused by blocking user-defined distracting websites during active focus sessions.

Data We Store

FocusLock Beta stores the following data locally in your browser:

• Focus modes
• Blocked websites
• Allowed websites
• Active focus session state
• Distraction attempt records, such as the blocked site and time of attempt

Website Access

FocusLock Beta checks the URL of browser tabs to determine whether a website matches your blocked or allowed website rules. This is required for the extension's core blocking feature.

FocusLock Beta does not collect page content, passwords, personal messages, payment information, health information, or financial information.

Data Sharing

FocusLock Beta does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties.

Remote Code

FocusLock Beta does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. All extension code is included in the extension package.

Desktop App Communication

FocusLock Beta may communicate with the FocusLock desktop app through a local connection on your device, such as 127.0.0.1. This is used to sync focus session status and blocked app rules between the browser extension and the desktop app.
